Sophie Rowan's Commission Info

Hello! If you are interested in commissioning me, please email me at [email protected] with the following:

1. Your name and your social media handle if you would like me to tag you.2. Commission type: HeavyPaint portrait, full illustration, etc.3. Character physical description with references (artworks, photos, in-game screenshots, etc.)4. Illustration story, atmosphere, colours, lighting, props... I want to hear your ideas!5. If you have links to other resources, docs, Pinterest boards, feel free to share them.If you don't have a clear illustration idea for your character, I am happy to discuss and help generate concepts.

When I have received your email, I will give you a quote. Once I have received a 50% deposit, I will send you a sketch of your commission.After your approval, I will finish the commission. I will notify you the commission is complete, where you will then send the remaining 50% payment. You will receive a high resolution png.

I use PayPal for all transactions.

INPRNT Discount:For every commission, you will get a 20% off discount code to use in my Inprnt shop. If you let me know I will happily list your commission to buy as a print.

Cancellations:If there are any unforeseen circumstances and I am unable to finish the artwork, you will receive a refund of your deposit.I do not offer a refund if you cancel the commission while I’m working on it.

I will not draw:A complex character redesign, explicit porn, mecha, big sprawling environments with buildings - there are many other artists much better than me at this :)

Regarding Personal Use:1. I own the rights to the artwork. You are not allowed to resell or alter the artwork.2. I am allowed to use the artwork in my portfolio and social media.3. You are allowed to use the artwork for non-commercial purposes. You can use it as a profile picture, post it in forums, print them for yourself or for friends (if it’s a present), etc. I would be grateful if you could credit me.

Black and White Line - £100+Character illustrations in black and white line. Loose, gestural and experimental. Portrait busts or full body.

HeavyPaint Portraits - £120Fun, quick, and a little bit messy. Works best when good references for likeness are provided.

Detailed Portraits - £250Painted in my mixed media style. Detailed character with simple coloured background.

Full Illustrations - £300+Prices depend upon complexity. The above paintings are organised in increasing complexity. The following are approximate pricing examples:Waist up character on a plain background: £300Full body character on a plain background: £350Complex scene with props or additional characters: £400 or more.
